Lifestyle denim capsule- concept to creation

This self-initiated project explores the design of a balanced men’s and women’s lifestyle denim capsule, developed from concept through creation.

The capsule merges two distinct seasonal stories:

• Elevated Utility – workwear roots redefined for city living with carpenter jeans, wide-leg cargos, utility skirts, shackets, and chore jackets in ecru, olive, stone, and sun-faded blacks.

• 90s Revival / Casual Nostalgia – relaxed, effortless silhouettes like baggy jeans, maxi skirts, and shrunken jackets paired with graphic tees, and sun-bleached indigos.

A denim wash story showcases core rinses, vintage mid-blues, acid washes, and tinted overdyes, while a seasonal texture story introduces wide- and mid-wale corduroy for added depth. Companion fabrics such as ultra-soft combed cotton jersey, cotton/viscose rib, yarn-dyed poplin, chambray, and wool twill balance the denim core and provide lifestyle versatility.

The result is a 28-piece capsule (14 women’s, 14 men’s) that balances core icons, trend-driven silhouettes, and lifestyle companions—creating a mix-and-match wardrobe that bridges authenticity and modern wearability.
